Principal's Welcome

I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Principal at this amazing Primary School and Early Years Centre and relish the opportunity to provide an engaging, inclusive and individualised learning experience for your child.

We are a community orientated school and EYC with a current enrolment of approximately 40 students. At Forrest, each child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Just as each child is an individual with their own character and needs, so too their educational growth is unique. The teachers are committed to nurturing and developing the ability of each child through carefully planned and innovative teaching programs.

At Forrest, we strongly believe that it is our responsibility to establish an environment which encourages and facilitates a positive learning partnership between students, teachers and families. It is only when we all work together that the potential of every child can be achieved.

At Forrest, we are able to provide the best of both worlds with an outstanding Literacy and Numeracy program complemented by a broader curriculum that offers Indonesian, Physical Education, The Arts and Social and Emotional Learning. We currently also offer a Nature-Based Learning Program that is unique to Forrest - Forrest Kids Go Bush

The kindergarten and day-care programs offer play-based learning opportunities for all children enrolled both indoors and outdoors. The program addresses the needs and interests of all abilities in reaching their developmental goals in a friendly and supportive setting.

Selecting an educational setting for your child is a very important decision to make and I invite you to visit Forrest to see and hear what we have to offer. Tours of the school are available and can be made by contacting the school to make an appointment time.
